Develop your love of singing with
SINGING SALON
Singing Salon is for classically trained, operatic soloists who, whilst having their own teachers, wish to develop their musical, dramatic and performance skills under the tutelage of mezzo-soprano, Pippa Dames-Longworth and her colleagues. For able and experienced amateur singers and would be professional singers, this is an opportunity to be cast in ensembles, often operatic, but also from the worlds of song and oratorio, that both suit the individual singer and give them the chance to sing some of the greatest ensembles in the repertoire. We work diligently and with care but also have great fun. The nine Singing Salon Saturdays also lead to a performance or two throughout the year. Pippa intends that Singing Salon works in a generous and supportive atmosphere, in which each singer is equally valued.
The online courses have now become 'live' workshop days. Please contact Pippa if you would like to be part of these workshop days. They normally take place on a Sunday and fill very quickly, so it is worth noting your interest before there is a poster! You would be most welcome.
Online courses - open to all
Since 2020 Pippa has devised a number of online courses, many of which she has repeated. The courses are varied, interesting, interactive and tailor made to the ten singers on the course. As well as working with the singers herself, Pippa invites a guest tutor to join her for a session. These tutors have included Adrian Thompson, Brian Parsons, Ian Rutherford, Richard Wigmore and William Pool. The courses take place over a weekend with a final evening of cocktails, however the majority of these courses are now held as LIVE courses.
Please contact Pippa if you would like to be included in future courses, there will be a course for you!
