Develop your love of singing with
SINGING SALON
Singing Salon is for classically trained, operatic soloists who, whilst having their own teachers, wish to develop their musical, dramatic and performance skills under the tutelage of mezzo-soprano, Pippa Dames-Longworth and her colleagues. For able and experienced amateur singers and would be professional singers, this is an opportunity to be cast in ensembles, often operatic, but also from the worlds of song and oratorio, that both suit the individual singer and give them the chance to sing some of the greatest ensembles in the repertoire. We work diligently and with care but also have great fun. The nine Singing Salon Saturdays also lead to a performance or two throughout the year. Pippa intends that Singing Salon works in a generous and supportive atmosphere, in which each singer is equally valued.

‘ … the most glorious memories of an enchanted evening, the sun dappling over the singers and audience as we watched in appreciation by the pond, in the orchard, garden and paddock and most of all of the wonderful way in which the company presented Hansel and Gretel so beautifully, with such flair and, of course, the most beautiful singing’ Alistair Burtenshaw, Director of Charleston

Well what can I say “what a resounding success”... Pippa, I cannot thank you personally enough for the ‘Operatic Adventure’ you have taken me, the audience and the building on... For my part the ultimate reward is having my audience leave a venue totally thrilled with the experience that they have just had. The immediate feedback over both nights was unequivocally positive, so “Huzzah” to all involved! Charlotte Desjarlais, Events Manager, The Royal Pavilion

'Brilliant show, thank you. You exploited all the individual talent and the overall effect was lovely. Your chosen musicians were superb also. The audience loved it. We will remember it for a long time'
